SMT pick and place machine is an important equipment in surface mounting technology, used for quickly and accurately installing electronic components on electronic circuit boards, greatly improving the manufacturing efficiency of circuit boards. 1. The working principle of SMT pick and place machine

The SMT pick and place machine mainly consists of the following parts: material rack, feeding system, mounting head, feeding system, control system, etc. The entire SMT process can be divided into five steps: loading, feeding, alignment, welding, and discharging. Below, we will introduce the working principle of each step one by one.


(1)Loading: Take out the components from the component library and place them on the material rack, waiting for the next feeding step.

(2)Feeding: The feeding system takes out the components from the material rack and sends them to the bottom of the patch head through a conveyor belt, ready for alignment and welding.

(3)Alignment: The mounting head will remove the components from the conveyor belt and accurately place them in their corresponding positions on the circuit board, achieving alignment between the components and the circuit board.

(4)Welding: After the components are placed, the welding system will fuse the components and fix them on the circuit board.

(5)Discharge: After welding is completed, the discharge system will send the installed components on the circuit board back to the component library and wait for the next round of chip placement.
